Compagnia Dromosofista (IT)
In 2007, Rugiada, Timoteo and Tommaso Grignani (Girovago e Rondella Family Theater) met the brothers Facundo and Santiago Moreno, Argentinian artists who had moved to Genoa at a young age, and founded Compagnia Dromosofista. The companies work focuses on the fusion of contemporary popular theatre, musical research and visual theatre. Dromosofia is an invented word – dromo: road and sofia: wisdom. It describes the philosophy of those who see the street as a school of life: a place full of creative potential, inspiration and poetic encounters between different cultures.
The show
Arcipelaghi Onirici
Puppetry, dance and sound machines reveal the many layers of a romantic ideal, celebrating connections with others as a force of transformation towards imaginary landscapes and joyful worlds. Through a dreamlike universe, the performance explores the extraordinary strength of being a couple: friends, lovers, or entire worlds coming together, while reflecting on the unexpected rediscovery of solitude after having shared a profound bond.
