A trio exploring the connection between clowning and vocal performance, focusing on the comic dynamics that emerge from the encounter between musical, sound-based, visual and physical languages.
The show
“On Air!”
A performance blending clowning, physical theatre and close-harmony singing to create an original and surreal playground. Its starting point and inspiration is the world of radio, with its physical and sonic universe, combined with the great tradition of 1930s and 1940s swing vocal trios and quartets. Three a cappella voices embody the singers of the era, creating playful metatheatrical encounters where the worlds of sound and image overlap and collide.
