Le Streghe del Palco (IT)
Le Streghe del Palco develop an artistic practice which combines contemporary theatre, immersive performance, visual arts, cinema and new technologies. Deeply rooted in the cultural heritage and imagination of Naples, the company transforms memory, identity and environment into participatory, multisensory experiences. Performances become a collective ritual, a space for artistic research, a tool for social reflection, and engage in themes such as sustainability, gender equality and marginal contexts. Blending text, physical performance, music and visual languages, the company involves audiences actively and overcomes the conventional boundaries of live performances.
The show
L’Ora d’Aria
A profound reflection on individual freedom that engages both the spectator’s senses and perception. Created for the first edition of the Naples Horror Festival, the performance draws inspiration from images and references such as Van Gogh’s The Prisoners’ Round, Gustave Doré’s engraving Newgate: The Exercise Yard, A Clockwork Orange, Alice in Wonderland, A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Divine Comedy.
WARNING: This performance is intended exclusively for adult audiences and contains disturbing elements. It lasts approximately 20 minutes and is presented repeatedly for groups of up to seven people at a time. The entire performance takes place standing.
INFORMATION:
Participants will be asked to temporarily leave all personal belongings, including documents, mobile phones and bags, and will be required to wear a scenic device that partially restricts all upper-body movements.
