The project
Royal Circus Ostrica (IT)
A versatile ensemble of woodwinds, brass, vocals and percussion, inspired by the aesthetics of the 1940s and enriched with international sounds. The original formation goes back to Circo Paniko’s Street Orchestra, however due to a collaboration with Theatre en Vol a new and vibrant formation was created, with the aim of inviting audiences to dance, connect and share the joy of music together.
The show
Nuova Orchestrina Altalena
A joyful and entertaining musical performance in which characters who have been separated for a long time use music to share their adventures. The performance offers audiences a light-hearted moment of connection, where everyone can return to dancing and enjoying themselves together, thanks to its colorful mixture of tunes and songs ranging from Hot Jazz to Dixieland, Swing, New Orleans blues, Mexican and Columbian rhythms, and the evocative sounds of the Balkans and the musical heritage of 1940s Italy.
