Teatr Migro (PL)
Teatro Migro’s productions are created for streets, squares and green areas in towns and cities of all sizes. Their non-verbal performances are based on gesture, dance and mime, creating a theatrical language which reaches every single spectator. The name Migro refers both to the travelling nature of street theatre and to the company’s artistic exploration of migration, communities on the move and the unexpected encounters of everyday life.

Icaruses
A journey filled with absurdity and subtle humor, where collective action, movement, live music and elements of magical realism come together in a performance inspired by Bogusław Schaeffer’s Quartet for Four Actors and the myth of Daedalus and Icarus. Four characters unexpectedly find themselves confined in a world of restrictions, daily rituals and repetitive gestures, searching for a way to escape and experience freedom, even if only for a brief moment.

Secrets
Soldiers return home from war, young women hiding inside their homes, a girl forced to flee her country with her elderly and sick father. Each of them must completely change their lives and begin again. The performance reflects on how easily we judge others, how limited our perception of reality can be, and how deeply the course of history influences human choices. Inspired by Magdalena Grzebałkowska’s book 1945 War and Peace.
