Teatro Nucleo (IT)
Founded in Buenos Aires in 1974 under the name Comuna Nucleo and permanently based in Ferrara since 1978, Teatro Nucleo is today a multifaceted theatre company working locally, nationally and internationally. A theatre cooperative where founders and new generations of actors and directors work alongside associations and institutions in social and educational fields, developing neighborhood projects, prison theatre, community engagement initiatives, the creation of new audiences, and workshops both in- and outside schools.

Quijote!
A tribute to fantasy and imagination, dedicated to all those who have lived and continue to live in defense of their own truths. A fast-paced performance, a theatrical celebration in which tragedy and comedy chase and merge into one another: common people mock the dreams of the Knight of the Sorrowful Face by performing a continuous dance, in which folklore, water, fire and pyrotechnics intertwine beneath a huge windmill towering over the stage.

Kashimashi
Comic, grotesque, dramatic, lyrical and mysterious, this solo dance-theatre performance explores gender stereotypes and is the result of theatre workshops, choreographic investigation and interviews on the theme of “stereotypes and bodies”. It examines how gender shapes our everyday actions: gestures, behaviors and social rituals. Through the lens of theatre, the performance investigates the stereotypes we identify with, reject or feel confined by.
