Tracce – In Cammino
TRACCE – IN CAMMINO reflects the necessity to become aware, to investigate and reflect on the issue of climate change.
Two actresses create an installation which describes a sort of corridor by placing stones, plaques and plants.
They are accompanied on their journey by soundscapes composed of recorded texts, sounds and music that evoke scenarios of destruction and rebirth. In the desolate land of action, the two actresses finally succeed in planting a seed of hope: their witness is a heartfelt appeal to us all to continue to walk and to honour and support all human action in protection of the planet Earth.
The performance includes physical theatre, texts and the creation of an installation on the spot and involves the audience directly.
TRACCE – IN CAMMINO transmits the necessity to take global and individual responsibility for an issue that in our daily lives is often not a priority and calls for taking steps, even small steps, to help protect the planet.
Technical requirements
SPACE
Performance for open spaces or large multi-purpose indoor spaces. It can be a wide street, a square that is accessed by a road which is visible from the square. The length of the route must be between 30 and 50 metres.
The organizer provides the company with photos of possible spaces he proposes for the performance. It is possible to adapt the show to spaces with different characteristics; in this case, it will be necessary to carry out an inspection together with the organizers.
TRAFFIC REGULATION AND DURATION
If the performance takes place outdoors, it is necessary to close off traffic approximately 2 hours before the performance as well as during the whole duration (30 min), and one hour afterwards (totally 5 h approx.)
A dressing room for two actresses is needed.
SOUND: A sound system with 2 250W speakers, mixer and related cables is required. Availability of 220V power supply for audio system is needed.
LIGHT: It is preferable to hold the performance during the day. In case of night performances 10 battery operated LED lights are needed.
The organizer is responsible for security service and the control of the distance between spectators.
