Girovagando 2026

The 29th edition of the Festival Girovagando presents The Revolt of Beauty, placing this year the question of the quality of human relationships at the heart of its program.

In a world increasingly marked by war, inequality and the law of the strongest, in a society permeated by hatred, violence and dehumanization, we propose to embrace a new paradigm of human relationships founded on tenderness.

Through arts and by enhancing the capacity to listen to each other and share experiences, we want to help awaken tenderness in the relationships between us, so that we may recognize one another, reconnect, respect one another, support one another, and ultimately find freedom.

Tenderness is an expression of freedom that no one can take away from us. No censorship, no war crime, no imprisonment can overcome the determination to remain, above all, human.

We hope that Beauty can become a driving force for empathetic change, enabling us to share the present and, above all, to shape a future free from fear and hatred, where beauty and solidarity may flourish.
